Joanna’s story
I started Joanna G. Studio back in 2017 when my husband and I were temporarily living in El Paso, Texas while he was working on a job as an engineer. After graduating with a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska Omaha, I didn’t think I would be making art my career. But after moving to El Paso I decided to give it a try. In 2018 we moved back to Nebraska where I continued to grow my art career after having a bone marrow transplant. In 2021 we welcomed our daughter and she has been by my side while I continue to create.
I aim to showcase the beauty of flowers using watercolor and oil paint. My goal is to highlight the details, colors, and feelings that flowers bring, capturing their essence on canvas. I want to inspire appreciation for nature and embrace the strengths of each medium, making my paintings reflect the fleeting and lasting aspects of floral beauty. Through my art, I invite viewers to connect deeply with the beauty around us.
